The gist
CRM tracks customer history, contact details and visit frequency. Build guest profiles, follow leads through a simple pipeline, and use segments to turn one-time visitors into loyal regulars.
Open CRM
1 step · where everything in this guide happens
- In the left sidebar, click CRM.
CRM has two views you'll switch between at the top of the page: Guest book and Pipeline.
Add a contact
4 steps · about 30 seconds per guest
- Click New contact.
- Fill in the guest's name, phone and email, and link a company if they belong to one.
- Record their marketing consent — ask at the table, not the inbox. Every granted consent unlocks marketing to that guest.
- Save. To follow them as a business opportunity, mark the contact as a Lead and add an estimated value — that puts them on the pipeline.
Use the Guest book
ongoing · one profile per guest
The Guest book is the full list of your guests.
- Open any contact to see their profile: contact details, visit history, notes and recent activity.
- Add a note after a visit — allergies, favourite table, what they celebrated — so the next shift knows them too.
- Keep businesses you work with under Companies, and attach contacts to them.
Work the pipeline
ongoing · one glance at every open lead
The Pipeline view shows every contact you marked as a lead, in columns by stage.
- Move a lead to the next stage as things progress — from New through Contacted and Qualified to Won or Lost.
- Keep the estimated value current; open stages add up to the value of your pipeline.
Review growth insights
1 step · see the bigger picture
- Open Insights to see your growth insights and build Segments — groups of guests (regulars, big parties, lapsed visitors) you can target together.
Pipeline stages
A lead moves left to right — one exit if it doesn't pan out.
- New — just marked as a lead; nobody has reached out yet.
- Contacted — you've made first contact.
- Qualified — there's real, confirmed interest.
- Won — the deal closed; the value counts as revenue.
- Lost — it didn't pan out; the contact and history remain in the Guest book.
