The gist

Reservations gives your venue a public booking page and a single place to manage every request. Guests book online, you confirm with one tap, and confirmation emails send automatically.

Open Reservations

2 steps · where everything in this guide happens

  1. In the left sidebar, open the Venue section.
  2. Click Reservations.

On desktop the sidebar is a slim rail on the left — hover over it to expand the labels. On mobile, tap the menu button in the top-left corner first.

You'll land on today's view. Use Today, and the Previous week / Next week arrows in the date navigator, to move between days.

Set up your floor (first time)

4 steps · once per venue

Before you can seat guests at specific tables, set up your floor plan once.

  1. On the Reservations page, click Set up your floor.
  2. Click Add section and name it (for example Indoor, Terrace, or Bar).
  3. Add tables to each section (for example Table 1).
  4. Repeat for every area of your venue, then close the drawer.
New bookings start as Unassigned until you place them on a table.

Take a reservation

7 steps · about 30 seconds per booking

  1. Click New reservation.
  2. Fill in the guest details:
    • Full name
    • Phone
    • Email (used to send the confirmation)
  3. Set the Party size with the / + steppers.
  4. Pick the Date & time.
  5. Set the Duration with the / + steppers.
  6. Add any Notes — special requests or dietary notes.
  7. Save. Assign the booking to a table, or leave it Unassigned for now.
The guest receives a confirmation email automatically.

Confirm and manage a booking

3 steps · repeat as the day runs

Click any reservation to open it, then move it through its status as the day runs:

  1. Confirm a pending request to accept it.
  2. Mark the guest Seated when they arrive.
  3. Mark the booking Completed when service finishes.

To call a booking off, open it, choose to cancel, and click Confirm cancellation — the reservation history is preserved. If a guest never arrives, mark them a no-show.
